PhD positions:

Interested students may apply to the NERC-funded Doctoral Training Programme in Environmental Research for fully funded 4-year studentships. Application deadline is typically early January for a start in October. Funded PhD positions will typically be advertised on the departmental Graduate admissions webpage.

To get an idea of possible projects, consult our research areas or get in touch with one of us. We welcome interest from graduates in geophysics, quantitative Earth sciences, physics, mathematics, computer science, engineering. You will have to apply via the general Oxford graduate admissions process, and provide a CV, names of at least two referees and a statement of research interests.
