Open Days and Enquiries

Thinking of studying Earth Sciences? Come and visit us to find out more!

Our 2017 Open Days are on Wednesday 28 June, Thursday 29 June and Friday 15 September. On these days the department welcomes visitors from 10am to 4pm.

Attending an Open Day gives you a chance to see what goes on in the Department, and talk to students, lecturers and other potential applicants. Our information desk is manned by current undergraduates, who can offer informal tours of our undergraduate teaching areas. Lectures, displays and demonstrations illustrate aspects of our undergraduate course and the research which unpins it.

Open days are free, and there is no need to book.
