I am a PhD student at the University of Oxford, funded by the Clarendon Scholarship. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Geology from Central South University and the University of Science and Technology of China, respectively. My current research focuses on Earth's interior evolution and the factors that contribute to planetary habitability. Previously, I explored the Late Devonian mass extinction and its links to climate change, examining the role of organic carbon-rich sediments and climate dynamics in shaping Earth's history. I am also passionate about earth science communication and committed to making complex scientific ideas accessible to wider audiences, and I have published four popular science books as part of this effort.
