I am Kris, postgraduate DPhil candidate in earthquake seismology and earthquake mechanics. Grew-up with earthquake and volcanoes since childhood in Bali inspired me to learn about geophysics. I did my master’s degree in geophysics at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.
Previously, I worked for years at Indonesian Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Agency as observational seismologist.
My research focused on earthquake’s physical parameters and how earthquake triggered further events.
I am supervised by Jessica Hawthorne and Paula Koelemeijer. and fully funded through LPDP.
