I am an experimental geologist. My primary research interests involve the application of experimental geology to the formation of ore deposits, but also to the fields of volcanology, petrology, and mineralogy. My current research involves understanding the economic potential and metal contents of geothermal fluids.

I also have a general interest in magmatic-hydrothermal experimental techniques, which includes experiments conducted in cold-seal pressure vessels, hydrothermal reactors, evacuated silica tubes, piston-cylinder apparatus, and internally heated pressure vessels.
