My DPhil research focuses on how we can use Earth analogues of volcanic systems to better understand volcanism on Venus. This involves new analysis and interpretations of the morphology of selected complex fissure-fed and lava flow fields on Venus in the light of new observations from digital elevation models and chemical analysis of volcanic products from terrestrial analogue systems. This research is funded by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC).
