Undergraduate awarded Ivor Tupper Prize of the Geologists’ Association

Congratulations to 4th Year Undergraduate, Penny Wieser (Worcester 2012), who has been awarded the Geologists’ Association Ivor Tupper Prize. The prize consists of £2000 plus a year’s free membership of the Geologists’ Association. The Prize will be awarded at the Association’s annual dinner on Friday 5 May.

The award is made by the Council of the Geologists’ Association to the student they feel best demonstrates both a genuine commitment to the discipline and academic excellence. Nominations are put forward by the Department, and Penny was a very worth nominee.
