Department to host 7th biannual meeting of The Marine Biogeochemistry Forum

AMBIO VII is the 7th biannual meeting of The Marine Biogeochemistry Forum: a Special Interest Group of The Challenger Society for Marine Science. The forum will be hosted by the University of Oxford’s Department of Earth Sciences from 6th-8th January 2016.

Advances in Marine Biogeochemistry (AMBIO) meetings set the stage for Marine Biogeochemistry in the UK, connecting disciplines within the field and establishing a network for the integration of emerging post-graduate researchers and early career scientists. AMBIO VII will showcase research frontiers across the full-spectrum of marine biogeochemistry, inviting participants from the UK and the international community. This year’s meeting invites abstracts to be submitted under the theme “Observation, simulation, discovery”.

If you would like to present your research at AMBIO VII, please register online and submit your abstract as a word document or pdf via e-mail with the subject “AMBIO abstract” to Will.Homoky@earth.ox.ac.uk. The deadline for abstract submission is 23rd October 2015. Abstracts should be <200 words, including title, names and affiliations of authors, and should indicate who will be the presenting author.

Registration is via the University online shop.
