Best geophysics-related 3rd year essay. Awarded by the examiners for the ‘geophysics’ essay with the highest mark, with ‘geophysics’ being interpreted broadly. Alternatively, best geophysics 4th year project if no obvious 3rd year contenders.

The Güralp Prize is awarded to a second or third year post-graduate student for outstanding progress in graduate research. A representative of Güralp Systems Ltd, Aldermaston will present the prize to the awardee.
