We use the stable isotope geochemistry of transition metals to investigate the origins of planets and to understand the processes and conditions under which the Earth developed and operates today.

Our research involves not only the application of existing transition metal isotope systems but also the development of new ones. Current research directions include:

1) Nucleosynthesis

2) Investigation of planetary differentioation using stable isotope geochemistry of Ni and Cr.

3) Investigation of the origin of the Moon using stable isotope geochemistry of Zn and V.
