I’m an earthquake geologist focused on active faults and surface rupturing earthquakes, generally in intraplate settings, with an aim to better understand seismic hazards, landscape evolution, and co-seismic processes. I am part of the Earthquake and Active Tectonics group working with COMET to investigate active faults in Central Asia through field-based and remote-sensing data. I completed my PhD thesis on historic Australian surface rupturing earthquakes at the University of Melbourne, and have a keen interest in teaching and science outreach.
