I’ve been a Computer/IT Systems Administrator at Earth Sciences since 1992 responsible for running all systems and providing support for all the research, admin and undergraduates.
Having degrees in both Geology and Computer Science allows me to understand the science and hence enables a better understanding of what people actually need from the systems.
