I am a volcanologist intersted in reconstructing volcanic eruptions and developing eruptive histories. I take a particular interest in the sub-surface processes that govern different styles of volcanism.

My research will focus on Corbetti volcano in Ethiopia. I aim to better understand it’s eruptive history, constrain the dynamics of the large explosive eruptions that that taken place there and investigate the magmatic processes that have fed volcanism at the complex for the last 180 thousand years.

My PhD is funded by NERC through the Doctoral Training Partnership in Environmental Research.
