I am a DPhil student on the NERC DTP in Environmental Research, funded by the Oxford-Radcliffe Scholarship and Rockfield Global Software. My interests involve the analysis of basinal tectonics and fluid flow in areas such as the Southern North Sea and Eastern Mediterranean.

Specifically, in order to combat CO2-induced climate change, subsurface structures in basins have been proposed as sites for future CO2 storage. Therefore it is vital to assess the effectiveness and leakage potential of such sites. This will be achieved through a combination of seismic analysis and Finite Element (FE) modelling using Rockfield’s industry leading software (Elfen).
