The only problem with this is that the install won't notice any ethernet cards you may have in the PCMCIA card slots and hence won't set up the network. You'll have to do this yourself after installing the PCMCIA packages and rebooting.
Everything else works fine, including sound.. Well, other than the modem, and you already know why this is.
