I am currently an Associate Professor in the Earth Sciences Department at the University of Oxford. My research is focused on understanding ocean circulation and the role in plays in the climate system. I am particularly interested in the Atlantic meridional overturning circulation and its variability, as well as the changing Arctic Ocean and mid-latitude atmosphere-ocean coupling.
