The Seismolab

The seismolab used to be the shiney office which housed graduate seismology students. However, as people moved offices and the number of seismologists changed, this has now changed to represent the seismology community here in Oxford. As of the start of the 2007/08 academic year there are 3 graduate students, Eoin Mcmanus, Andrew Valentine and David Al-Attar and 2 post-docs, myself and Ana Ferreira. In addition we maintain strong links to the atomic weapons establishment (AWE) at Blacknest through former seismolab members who are working there, Ben Fox and Ross Heyburn. Each year there are usually 1 or 2 undergraduates working on their 4th year masters projects in seismology.

Although Oxford University's Earth Sciences Department hosts this web-site, neither organisation exerts any editorial control over its content. Thus any views expressed or statements made on these pages can in no way be taken to represent any entity other than the author.
