Research in Oxford covers broad aspects of stratigraphy and sedimentology, but in particular focuses on integration of data from a range of biological, physical and geochemical sources. Recent highlights have included much refined understanding of the nature and causes of major environmental change events, particularly in the Mesozoic, but the interests of the individuals working in this area range through the entire geological column.
