Research Profile

My research is focused on understanding the tectonics of the continents, through a combination of theoretical models with geological, seismological, and geodetic measurements of active deformation. I am also interested in the thermal and mechanical structure of subduction zones.

Teaching Profile

1st Year: Mechanics and Fluids
1st Year: Plate Tectonics, Heat Flow, and Convection.

3rd Year: Continental Tectonics.
4th Year: Santorini and Mainland Greece: Volcanology and Active Tectonics.
