A variety of support is available for EU students. Further details can be found on the University Graduate Admissions website.

The Department expects to have a number of Research Council funded studentships for allocation in 2012. EU citizens who have been normally resident in the UK for the past three years or longer are eligible for awards covering fees and stipend.

Minimum Requirements

The Department conforms to the University's minimum requirements for applicants. Please see the University Graduate Admissions website for details.

You should also consult the admissions criteria for the Division of Mathematics, Physical and Life Sciences.

Projects

You may apply for a listed project, or propose one of your own.

Deadline

The deadline for most University scholarships is Friday 20 January 2012, but please check the details for the scholarship you wish to apply for.

The deadline for applications for research council studentships will be Friday 20 January 2012.

If you have your own funding, you should apply by Friday 9 March 2012.

Interviews

Interviews for EU students are arranged on an individual basis, unless applying for a Research Council funded studentship, in which case they will take place in late February or early March 2012, dates to be arranged.
