Our Location in Oxford

We are located in the University Science Area on South Parks Road Next to the Dyson Perrins Laboratory. This Google Map shows where we are.

Oxford is easily accessible by road and rail and is just an hour's travel from London's Heathrow Airport.

By car: The M40 Motorway passes close to Oxford. Use junctions 8 (from the South or East) or 9 (from the North).  Use the A34 when approaching from the South and to connect from the M4 Motorway. Parking is hard to find in Oxford so it would be wise to use the Park and Ride services (Links to Oxford City Council, National Park and Ride Directory) service. Visitor parking at the deparment is by arrangement only. Please use the contact details above.

By Coach from London: Frequent 24-hour direct services connect Oxford with London (peak times every 10-20 minutes). Use the Oxford Espress or the Oxford Tube services. Both services start from London Victoria and stop in the same places in Oxford.

By Coach from the Airports: There are frequent bus services from Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted Airports. Use The Airline service or National Express from Heathrow and Gatwick. Stanstead is served by National Express.

By Coach from Cambridge: Stagecoach X5 provides a convenient Oxford-Cambridge bus link.

By Rail: Oxford is very well served by the rail network with direct services from places such as London, Southampton, Bristol, Bath, Manchester, and Birmingham. If arriving by rail you may wish to consult the online Railway Timetable and Planner.
